On Poem WritingA day of dread lies ahead for ev'ry Poet- when the end of the line stands tall. (Do I even need to rhyme at all?) Metaphors expand so far they evaporate into a mist of Tiny droplets: each is small and signifies nothing- But through the larger picture a rainbow is seen. Complexity and subtlety- those twin ends of the Poetic rope- pull that fragile writer into despair. Don't even mention meter- meticulous mavens Of marvelous monologue are ruined by misplaced spondee. And what of substance? All the spinning webs of Poetry Are unspun by that spider of a reader whoOn Poem Writing

Ad AstraThe world I know has let me down As I pound these pegs into the ground. A fence to block the who, when, and why— From deep in my heart it touches the sky.Ad Astra
Those stars sneeze at barriers erected then torn, Each continues to shine forever without mourn. They send a message to tear down walls of the soul: The stars give us perspective and hand us control.
We struggle for answers with logical minds, When problems are solved by thought of all kinds. Despite pain, the fence is dismantled one piece at a time, This action defies reason through logic and rhyme.
